That is the best way to drive a rover! I loved doing that with my series. Bonus points if you fold down the windscreen.

I had no idea the windscreen would rest perfectly on the rubber bushings for the spare tire. By design?

technically not. I drove windshield down as a teenager all the time in my CJ7. never busted, but was told by someone if authority it's not legal as it's a safety device.

I think you have to wear eye protection if you have the windscreen down. At least that is what local law enforcement told me when I had my 55 CJ5

I had them like you do now, but then I saw that the Raingler website pics have them running along the inside of the roll cage along the driver and passenger sides - it certainly helps keep my dog more "inside" the vehicle their way.

For the rear net I run the upper most loops just underneath the top loops of the side nets on that rear C pillar. That way the top loops of the rear net don't slip inward/upward along the top of the C pillar.
