My list is a bit lacking since the truck had most of the important stuff on in when I got it but here we go:
1. Oil cooler lines w/ Fire Extinquisher (And shutting her off before she burst into real flames)
2. Safari Gard Diff. Guards
3. Convex Mirrors
4. Cutting off tailpipe (sounds great now, and I don't have to worry about hanging it in the springs again)
5. Black Duct tape (it's on too many places to count, but the money I'm saving on holding out for a top is keeping her running)

1. Tool box from Troy
2. TruTrac rear diff and Great Basin rear axles
3. ARB bumper with winch and Cibie Oscars
4. Spring retainers from Expedition Exchange
5. Mantec Rock Sliders from RN

Soon to add:

homemade snorkel
roof rack - (African Outback or Hannibal?)
new tires - probably Cooper Discoverer STT's in 235/85R16
compressor and air tank - bought the compressor at MAR - Rover Solutions - just need to install it
homemade rear bumper/class 3 hitch combo
swing away rear tire carrier (Mantec lookalike)

Jack,
Is your tire carrier going to be a custom made unit or is it merely another brand that is similar to mantec? I want one as well and if you were going the custom route maybe it would keep down costs.

Christian - to answer your question a friend of mine with great fabrication skills (better than mine) is going to build my rear bumper for me - he's done a couple of others for D-90's and they look great. We will probably take a close look at one the Mantec units a friend of mine has on his 110 and possibly clone it. Depends on how much Mike wants to stick me for a tire carrier.

I am interested in one of these as well. Let us know what he charges you, he may be able to sell a couple, if he is willing.

Tdi
Dual fuel tanks
Braided stainless brake, fuel, and oil hoses
A hood release that works
Galvanized chassis, though now redundant due to diesel motor and leaky t-case.

Most worthless mods-
Polyeurethane chassis bushings
Hella 4000's I've never finished wiring
Fiberglass hardtop (its hard not to hate the hardtop - even though it has its uses)
A/C - yeah, I needed it, but its a PITA
Replacing the window glass that some bastard broke

I guess I better hold off on getting my whistle tips installed like Bubb Rubb did.

Chris

P.S. Just kidding about the whistle tips but if you haven't seen the Bubb Rubb video, you gotta watch it. It's a classic!

LOL, where do these people come from!

I found the wistel in my grandfathers basement with all his old tools and stuff when he passed away a few years ago. I thought it was very cool and it looks to be pretty old (50-90 years) so I polished it up and through it on the 90.
