Not my 18 month old son, but my 2 year old furry other son. We saw the winter weather coming, so I called a buddy, told him to get his stuff together in his Disco so we could meet up at a favorite spot in the North Georgia (relatively speaking) high elevation (4-5,000'.) Snow was falling at 1,500', so we knew we were in for some fun up top. We took the Rovers up the Forest Service roads, found 2-3" of snow, and around 2 more inches fell as we camped last night. Temps were okay (mid 20s) and the wind wasn't too bad. The 130 performed flawlessly, as I took it through a few rough locals (on purpose.) Caught a few wild rainbow trout on the 3wt, as well. About as good as it gets in N. Georgia. Ziggy the Berner had a great time, too.

A few pics:

Rolf,

I try to make the time to get out there. I love it, and driving through those desolate, snowy high mountain roads is as peaceful as anything I can find.... Along with the cold water fly fishing.

I hope all is well with you.

Very nice. Looks like you replaced the rear saggy headliner. Now you need the rear bed canvas.

I did.

Next, a new front custom front winch bumper from Denny @ HLCF, a warn 9.5ti with synthetic cable, rear canvas with windows/rollup sides and back, parrot stereo, snorkel, roof rack, and regular maintenance. I keep contemplating a spray-in for the bed.... But I keep talking myself out of it.

The truck is great.

Thx, Todd.....

Wait til your 18 month old is 2.5 years old and you have a 8 month old then we'll see how much fun you're having!!! I hate you! Sorry. Just bitter. My weekend consisted of crying and screaming. At least someone is having fun.

Looks like it was a great trip. I can't wait to get a Berner.

My 8 mo old son will only sleep reliably in the garage, which turns into an unprecedented amount of rover time.

I never had a dog when I got my defender but I used to try to make my cat sit on the dashboard of my series III. That didn't work out too well.

Berners are great dogs. We have had two and they have been such good family companions.

I have the badger works seat covers and they are awesome! I was hoping the snow would hit us in the SE a bit so we too could have some 4wd fun.
