Tony Robbins show tonight.

Sweet Connie Green 110 on this Tony Robbins show in Malibu. Looks like an ECR truck.

Thanks!

Not an ECR truck, actually... Bought it from Jeff Bacon in Maine who (re)built with his own hands.

I run that show. We needed a cool truck to ferry in the participants. The typical move would be to use some sort of Suburban. Lame. Subbed in my own ride instead. Sadly, can't pay myself a rental.

Thanks for watching. Ratings were horrendous but show was sort of interesting, right?

Happy hour??? Never invited.

Yup, an LA-based EP. And sort of a lurker on the board. But a proud owner of a 97SW and the 109 IIA we used on Tony's show. Bought it a couple of years ago when I remarried and suddenly needed to haul 4 great kids. Couldn't drive anything but a Rover so started prowling. Actually saw the truck posted in the For Sale section of the board and bought it the day it listed. Jeff shipped from Maine and it's been my family truckster ever since. I'm bucking for coolest dad in the Wildwood carpool line. Good times.

The details since you asked:

1964 109 IIA Station Wagon. And yeah, a LOT of Defender parts and modern conveniences. But a series truck at heart and bulkhead. Don't want to start a debate. She is what she is.

RDS chassis. RDS rear a/c. D.U.I distributor. R.P.I. Piper 4.6 CAM. Rebulit as automatic (my wife won't drive a stick). All stainless lines. GPS and rear camera. Optima dual battery. Edelbrock 500 CFM carb and intake. Bilstein shocks w/ galv towers. Rebuilt axles. New style dash. Alpine everything including custom subwoofer mount for rear door. Exmoor interior everything. Mallory series 70 fuel pump. Mantec tire carrier. 300TDI front and rear wiring harness. Whole thing painted Belize Green. Just about 10K miles since the build.

Pretty much the coolest daily driver in Los Feliz, if I do say so myself.

Will find a way to wedge it on another show soon and make the truck earn its keep.

Dude, you can't post all the specs like that and not post a pic! That's like describing a playboy playmate but without the pictorial layout. I missed the show, when is it on again?

Well how about that..SWMBO watched the show and told me something about it...but failed to mention the Rover.

I'll have to encourage her "sightings" skills

.....just highlighting your viewer demo's there Tom...

Wait, so you must live on the Westside? I only know Wildwood because I'm doing work for a client and one of their competitors happens to be Wildwood. This means you'll have to meet us for happy hour some time if you live over here.
