I said goodbye to the best damn dog EVER today. Her kidneys gave up at pretty darn close to 15yrs old. Most dudes who went to east coast events knew Sassy. She loved being in the D and loved Rover events. Actually she just loved being around people. I'll post some more pics as I can find them. Rum is helping ...

Very sorry to hear that. I've been there and know it's coming again, and yet, it is never easy.

She was a great dog and I'm glad I got to meet her. I remember your telling us that she had never gotten up in a chair before that cold night at the OEX-East 2014 but she sure took to it like a pro once she figured out that a chair at a fake fire was a whole lot better than the cold ground. It won't be heaven unless we get to be reunited with all of our dogs. I'm so sorry for your family.

Hey buddy....Jesus what a bummer, she was a great dog....you were definitely her main man. Been there and done that with two female Sheperds 14-1/2 and 15 respectively....so I know what you're going through, it's like losing a kid.

So sorry. I hate those days. Looks like a true Dog's life she had. Lucky girl until it just ran out. So sorry, again. Relish in what looks to be some great memories. All the best.

Looks like you had a great time together and that's what truly matters. It doesn't get much worse than losing a great pup. Hope the liquor drink helps a bit...A little bit of time will be the biggest help.
