Time to change the color on the 110 I'll let the forum make the call

All right I have decided itís time to dip the 110 to make her look a little cleaner and less like the turd my wife believes she is. The interior is gray and black so it goes with pretty much anything. Not planning on redoing the factory stripes. I will be adding led turn brake and running lights and probably black chequer plate wing protectors.

Below are some colors Iíve found that I thought had promise. Take a look, at the ones I linked and if you are really bored look through the others on the sites. Anything but white and pink that makes the top 5 will be considered.

It will be at least a month before itís warm enough to do it so will say in 45 days your votes will be tallied and Iíll post up with the top 5 colors on a poll, 5 days later the forum will make the call.

Graphite Pearl.... no doubt.

If you go flashy or trendy, you'll be sick of it in no time.

Darn. I was going to suggest pink and you beat me to it.

Ok. Purple and gold. LSU colors.

So you're going to trust a bunch of impatient guys with questionable hobbies to make your wife like your Defender?

In that case, I'll donate $100 for you to go ACU digital.

Graphite Pearl or Stormcloud Metallic.

I'm trying to think my way through a paint job as well. I just don't like the blue I have. And for photographic and heat reasons, I want a lighter color. I think I'm going for a very light grey with a tiny bit of a rust tint.

If I were you, I'd go for the graphite.

That olive gold was special, if you're thinking outside the box...

I've seen a lot of good looking defenders on here, plus let's be honest I think half the guys in the military joined so they wouldn't have to dress themselves.

I would go for that but I don't have the patience to do the masking work for ACU, that and I think that would piss her off.

I do dig the olive gold, that was one of the colors that really stood out to me. Although like most of the answers point out the various shades of gray and black pearl look damn good. However that is a tried and true color.

That is the cool part about dip, if in the end I choose poorly I can peel it off and be back where I started.

Nope, that's why I said no pink or white in the original post

Why not let you guys help make the call, it's just plasti-dip and it's not permanent.

Awesome idea! Here's my opinions.

Top choice: I think Green Lantern.

Sparkling Graphite Pearl -> It's okay. Kind of boring.

Solar Flare Pearl -> Might be okay on a soft top 90.

Olive Gold Kameleon Pearl -> That's kind of nice actually.

Miami Sunset Pearl -> No.

Iceberg Blue Pearl -> Kind of looks like a rotten blueberry.

Green Lantern Pearl -> I like it.

Deep Sea Blue Pearl -> Still looks like a blueberry. It's too much.

Burnt Orange Pearl -> That's a pretty nice orange.

Brass Knuckles Pearl -> Nah. Kind of looks like poop. Pretty poop though.

Black Cherry Pearl -> That's hideous. NO.

Aurum Dust Pearl -> Looks like vomit.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/Burnt-Cop...loy-Pearl.html -> Nah. Too flashy/ghetto.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/Hyper-Black-Graphite.html -> Looks like silver? It's okay.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/Raw-Titanium.html -> That's pretty nice.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/Sage-Green.html -> Maybe. Hard to tell, but I think no. Looks a little too bright.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/Stormclou...-Metallic.html -> That could be okay I suppose.

https://www.dipyourcar.com/World-Rally-Blue.html -> Maybe. Looks better than the other blues to me, but hard to tell.

Whats with all the Candy Pearl paints? Those are for custom cars. Defender wavybodypanelitis will make that suck.

Solid Colors Rule!

If the raw titanium has a bit of green in it. That gets my vote. If not then storm cloud with a shot of green tint. Then green lantern. Might as well get the poll up already.

It won't be that bad mixed into plasti dip. It will not be shiny enough to show the warped nature of the Defender body.
