Contrary to what the youtube description says, this guy did not work at Rovertym, I think he was a friend of Steve's.
You can see Galen taking the above photo.

Cool picture. Looks like Galpin standing on the back handle and Loic standing next to the front of the 110.

Different mud hole. The one you picture is the one where Charles let his daughter try it without the arb switches in the right position......it didn't go well. One of the few times I have seen Galpin really worked up, aside from the Conclave incident of course. You bought Shrek from me after that event...many defenders ago for both of us.

Damn I'm loving this thread. I was there for most of these pictures, except for Frank's desert shots of course.

I know, that was the hole Tracy was coming the opposite direction and pissed off Ray asking him to move *LOL*
I crossed it with Luca in the back, and my rear door open, Luca was all chaffed with the seatbelt, banged his head on the cage, so the little Sh@t head, move to Ray's truck with O and ditched his parents LOL priceless

I can't find the pic / video of that mud hole where all of the guys were buried

ARB lockers for sissy, real man don't have them *LOL*

Pretty sure that mud hole was either this one or the one just before it (where April broke the motor mount on my truck, pulling someone out...in reverse)

MAR 2009
Yeah, I remember that...
I had been to the Cove the weekend before MAR; packed everything back in the truck and left for MAR on Sunday.
After about 15 minutes into the drive, this reptile slithered up my left legjsut as I'm going up Afton mountain.
I locked up the brakes on the shoulder...and got a quick picture as she was about to jump out the back door....

More MAR 2009
The mud was an awful gooey, clumpy stuff.
Different from the previous years.

Here's some pics of the mud brothers..

Anybody remember the MAR at PP when somebody got a flat tire on the muddy trail along the river's edge, and while we were changing the tire in the dark, my lab Francis started barking at the snake that was coming through the woods at us?

Here's a couple from the wayback machine, Sherman;

First is crossing the Quinn River in 1987's Black Rock Desert Run, the second is the line up group photo on one of the high lakes. S***ty camera back then.

Mar '06. There was a huge group that took like 6 hours to do the River trail, got to the end only to find the bridge had been washed out.

Robert talking someones ear off.

I actually utilized that once. We were drunk on Portsmouth Island (no really) and a US PS ranger came to the door wearing body armor and packing a glock (seemed over the top for an uninhabited barrier island) and started to give me a hard time . The guy was extremely intimidated when I opened the door and filled the hole in the wall and was actually shaking and stuttering as he confronted me. I simply called Robert to the door and went back to my cocktail. 15 mins later the guy just walked away in frustration
Welcome to my close friend Robert Davis.
