We used three snatch blocks to get the right pull angle on that one and my 90 was strapped to a tree to keep from pulling to him, that stuff was slimy, great memories.
Probably is him. I can't find my other photos of it but I'm pretty sure it was green.
I'd tried once and got high centered, so backed up and cheated, went through with my left wheels on the center ridge and my right wheels on the bank. Didn't work out exactly the same for him.

Yeah I cheated too. I went around on the right in my black 90 and the lwb was trying to follow my line but his driver side tires slid off. That was one of the few days I actually appreciated my Swamper Trxus tires. Generally hated em.

that's him, short guy but I liked him anyway He wasn't happy with how long it took me to flip him back up on his wheels.
Those guys hung in their seat belts for a good 10 mins.

Same AB Simbar brush guard with that damn lower hoop. First time I've seen a practical use for that lower hoop

Ok, I'll play.....even though it it's Saturday. Here are a couple photos of my first Defender. She's #96, one of the first 100 Defender 90's sold in 1994. I bought her stock in ABQ, NM in 1999 and drove her all the way back to NC. And, so began my love affair with these vehicles.

This one is from Four Wheeler magazine.

The Tank Trap.
Back when several 90 owners at MAR were sporting the "Tonka" decals....

One of my favorite builds.

Too bad those SSR's are about 4 bills each. I would wager they could be the best tire for a Defender that wheels.
