Very fishy, stock photos not real ones of this vehicle. I'd say scam.

Short answer is no.

Long answer is just about anything can make it into the US: Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab for example.

..."But you can absolutely trust me."...

If ever there was a phrase to put you on guard. That one is just below "Give me your money motherf'er" as a guy sticks a gun in your face.

Here is what the seller said when I asked them on eBay...

"Hi and thank you for your question. Ofcourse this car can be imported into the US Just like ANY car in the world can be imported into the US. I will be responsible for SHIPPING this car to the buyer anywhere in the world. This car will arrive by ship obviously. Further to this, as I understand it, every US State has its very own Car Registry rules. Unfortunately I cannot help you on this since I am unaware of individual State registry policies. Registering the car is the buyers concern. However as far as Import is concerned then that is no problem at all. The car is brand new, never driven and meets ALL Safety and Driving standards. Its just a regular new car just like any other. But as I said....registering the car is upto the buyer once he/she receives the vehicle."

SCAM ...

Follow-up Post:

Julian, You can build one that looks exactly like this one? Interior and all? That can't be cheap :O)

Some of us old Land Rover owners probably have that much invested in our vehicles after owning them for decades. In the loooooong term I can afford to build something nice, but not in the short term. I've had the Land Badger for 34 years now. Don't even want to think about how much I've spent on it. It's the blue vehicle on the Badger Coachworks homepage.
