Hurts to hear the truth though. I was in Africa last year at this time and barely saw Rover products off road. Vast majority was LC in Tanzania these days.

Hardly surprising, I suppose. Toyota remains willing to accommodate the regional needs better than Land Rover.
And to think that all my grandfather had in Tanganika was a Hunter saloon!

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

Regardless of the conclusion, that's a pretty cool roof/tent that basically looks stock. Bet its a lot lighter than a standard RTT.
Something tells me that Overlander is taking time to process all of this before responding.
