The tables have turned

So my whole marital life I've had to learn and be able to discuss crap like horses, Jimmy Choo shoes, inner feelings, and a plethora of stuff she wanted to talk about. Today she's on her iPad looking at some shopping sight and retorts the sentence: "look at this Defender, it's a 110, like maybe early 90's, almost like an NAS, nice."

The tables have turned my friends.

Congrats! My wife just stays neutral and goes with the philosophy that a Rover Dave is a happy Dave.

Well at least you know who Jimmy Choo is.
I know women who don't know.
Then again 99% of the women I know have never hear of Brioni or Ermenegildo Zegna. None know Mimi Fong.
But I bet if Land Rover came out with a Michael Kors Edition they'd be on it.

Be careful, you don't want Elle Woods hearing you throw around all of those designer names.....

"Early 90's, almost like an NAS" is what really elevates her statement. She's been paying attention. Good for you! You've got a real keeper ;-)

Mine doesn't comment or complain either way. Sometime she'll ask that we take the 110 to an outing though, and get this, my 15 year old daughter wants her 1st car to be a D90!

Mine is the opposite. We'll happily go laning, and she'll point out Ser 1,2,2A and 3 to me. Knowing how they are different. Only downside is she likes my PUMA 2.2 so much we have to fight for the keys sometimes. So there is a downside to everything

You're a lucky man.

Agreed she is a keeper. She's put up with my military career. 24 yrs she stood beside me. Through good times and bad.
Most amazing wife ever. I had to go to work early the other day. Out the door at 0530hrs. She was up before that to make my lunch for me.

I am truly lucky to have her by my side
