Hmmm... I wonder if Icon Aircraft is related to Icon - the builder of the high-end Land Cruisers and Jeeps? Looks like they both cater to the same clientele.

I don't like the 3' wing clearance above water when in duck mode. Anyone watch the video of takeoff when the pilot lifts off while heeling? Looks like he almost clips his wing on the water.

Otherwise an awesome idea. Takes car fuel, 20 gallon tank, 300 nm range...so 50 nm's to the gallon!

Yeah that looks pretty scary. You wouldnt want to bury a wing. I bet they put wing floats out there before they go into production.
