Ok...so just to make sure I am clear...the rules are - YOU have to take the picture. And it either has to be YOUR vehicle, or you have to have explicit permission from owner of said vehicle? I also can't imagine too many folks are running out there to get a pic published of someone else's rig .

That takes most of my "good" shots while I'm actually behind the wheel / action shots of my truck out of the running, so we're pretty much talking just a static pose shot of your vehicle sitting as the likely candidates? Is that right?

Good point, I forgot about that kind of stuff out there "on-the-line" . That said, I still prefer to "mow my own lawn" if you know what I mean.

That's...."silly".

What an odd rule, and it certainly won't be enforced. Had I seen that while I was at work, I would have made sure it as omitted from the list. Photographers own the rights to their photos, regardless of the subject in the photo(unless signing a contract saying otherwise regarding the photo's use).

Submit any photo you've taken!

Especially if it's of my truck . Hey listen, the pictures don't take themselves I get that....but the subject doesn't just present itself either without a little finesse from the skinny pedal!

That said, if a pic of my truck submitted by the photographer wins...I want that g*ddamn maple syrup split right down the middle with me .

Regardless, still makes my point that in theory YOU can pretty much only submit a *static* photo of YOUR truck for the contest if you want to keep it in the family. In other words, a boring-ass pic of a truck sitting in a field somewhere. This why I need to teach my 6-year old how to work the hand throttle so I can jump out on an obstacle and take some pics!

My Defender is in the basement... in pieces... because it hasn't been built yet...

I'll have to submit a photo of someone else's.

I hope I can find some fisheye lens pics...

Natural habitat.....

Does that include being flat bedded back home?

Kraig, I do have a few good shots of yours....

Although Rocky brings up "natural habitat"... so various stages of disassembly might be a natural state!
