Thank You everyone

So I sold my D-90 this weekend and just wanted to thank everyone on the board for all their great help. This is an amazing board with some great people. Anyway it was a tough decision but the right thing to do for right now. It was my second and I will get another probably sometime next year.(ST) In the mean time I bought a 06 LR3. Sweet ride but just not the same.

Thanks again!

Rich

I've come close to making that decision a couple of times but still can't part with my Defender . See you back on the D90-source next year .

Oh yeah, and Campbell, you'll definitely miss your defender, but the LR3 is definitely an awesome truck... smooth as anything on road, and very capable off road... I do recommend looking at new tires though, the stock ones weren't all too great, I put a set of Cooper Zeon's on and the difference is night and day.

Yeah I know, I have been through this before....keep telling myself no big deal I will get another one in a while but still hard.

I was thinking of maxing out the tire size with BFG AT KO...

Love the LR3 though. Blue/Tan 06 SE w/ Navi/7seats/cooler box/cold climate/ only 46k.

Rich, congrats!

Suprised we did not see your D90 for sale. I hope you got good money for it and turns a couple bucks as you really cleaned it up over the time you had it.

Crazy weekend sold a few things I had. Now I just have to see where the ST prices are a year or so from now. Hopefully I can get one. I always wanted an LR3 so pretty happy with it and got it from a really nice couple who took good care of it. Been looking for a while and was going to keep the d-90 as well it just didn't make sense $$ wise.

x2 on the Zeons... have them on my RRSC. Little bit more noise (obviously) than the street tires, but little to no impact on mpg or overall comfort. If anything, ride is a tad better with more flex in the larger sidewall.
