When I was shopping for a new 90 in '94 I test drove a brand spanking new one at "Range Rover North Point" in Atlanta (Alpine white with a fastback top). The salesman was proud to show me not one, but two NAS 110s that Turner had just purchased. They were prepped for transport to Montana the next morning. Good to see he still has them and Jane did not swipe em .......

How can anyone know that yet? It has only been in the US since '01.

I don't mean to defend the prius, but it's more about fuel economy here and now rather than total impact. Whether that be good or bad, but that quote just doesn't make any sense.

I suppose that makes some sense. I can't imagine you can get a very good number from doing that though. Everyone knocks the prius but atleast it's headed in the right direction. They maximize efficiency from both modes of propulsion. That's what this green movement is all about anyway. Electric cars have a far higher efficiency than a gasoline or diesel vehicle regardless of where the energy comes from.
