Tanksgiving LR recipezzzz

Ok Turkey day is upon us, and we're all scrambling to prepare for TGD and the possible horrors of family invited or un-invited.. Watz your fave recipe that you would consider a LR recipe?

here's mine for Cranberry sauce:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
3 cloves
1 stick cinnamon
4 cups cranberries
1/2 orange
1/4 cup cognac

cook water & sugar to boil
boil 3 minutes
put in other ingredients
low heat till cranberries pop
add cognac

Note: if mant brats are present, double dose of cognac..

you forgot the .
should read; very large whiskey (sip 4 fluid oz to ensure quality), drive by a 7/11 (not a 7up), spill a spoon full of sugar on the floor. While the Mrs is cleaning up the sugar, you have 4.5 seconds to down the very large whisky. Repeat.

Creme Brulee!!!

Heres a simple Julia Child approved creme brulee recipe that will garner you brief popularity. My favorite as well.

8 egg yolks

1/3 cup of sugar (Use 1/2 a cup if you want to give your guests diabetes)

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Mix all together with a whisk til it looks like something you'd regurgitate after seeing TerriAnn Wakeman step out the shower. Make sure its nice, yellow and bubbly.

Pour into 6 ramkins (bowls will work too for you ghetto bastids)

Bake each ramkin / bowl in a large baking dish with an inch of water for 50 minutes

Refridgerate for at least 2 hours

Sprinkle a table spoon of sugar over each ramkin. To caramelize sugar use a propane torch that plumbers use to join copper pipe. You know you got one somewhere in the garage, everyone does right??? If you don't have one than just use the broiler, although you gotta watch it like a hawk so it don't burn. Serve to guests.

1/2 Bourbon, 1/2 Cranberry Juice. Only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Feel free to liberally define the glass, tankard or Super Big Gulp.
