I think there's a secret hidden under my Rhinoliner from the PO. Aside from that, just lots of dog hair and a flat comb is all I think I've found so far.

Not my Defender, but my girlfriend bought a used car and a receipt fell out from behind the glovebox. It was for service performed at 75k miles. The odometer showed 38k.

In my 1966 diesel 109 I found the original window sticker:

In the 1967 NADA six-cylinder wagon I sold to a friend of mine we found an old picture of the truck back when it was the shop truck for a motorcycle shop in the sixties - there was a big Bultaco sticker in the rear side window and Continental Racing Enterprises painted on the side.

Not in my rover but a 1996 F150.

Bought the truck from a local cop who bought it for a song from a local crackhead that he knew. The crackhead had been arrested by the cop a few times in the same pickup and noticed that he had liked it. So at one point the crackhead calls up the station asking for said cop wanted to know if he wanted to buy the pickup. Cop tells me he knows the dude is hurting bad for cash and a fix, so he buys the truck in 2001 for $900 in cash.

Years later i buy it from him and he tell me this story...i think it is total bullshit and forget about it.

Until the radio broke the year before last so I bought a head unit to replace it with. With my arms up inside the dash from below; a glass pipe with steel wool and brown residue inside it rolls down my arm. I find another jammed inside the wiring still with the paper rose in it. some one had shoved the pipes in the dash in between the front defroster vent and the dash pad.

Now imagine if i had to explain this story to a cop who had searched my truck and found these..i would have been totally boned.

Lots of dog hair. When I had Roverville re-do my stock radio, he said he found a lot of dog hair inside it, too.
