Tailgate Question

Is a Series 3 and 110 tailgate one in the same?

Yes.

If you want new, get a Rocky Mountain, although he is saying out of stock.. Rocky Mountain Products, Parabolic Springs, Shackle Kits, Shock Absorber Kits

Ehhhh, it's the same size and shape, but has different finishes.

The 110 tailgate will be completely painted and the Series will have several galvanized parts.
The series should also have chain supports and not cables like the Defender.

Small differences that might not matter to you, but worth pointing out so you're not surprised.

But both can be set up to be swing away the same, correct?

Absolutely, they are exactly the same in that regard.

I have a Defender Tailgate on my IIA and it's great. I went that route on this truck only because as Red pointed out earlier, RM is out of stock (and has been for almost 1 year).

Uhm, if you go swing out, be sure to put some kind of spacers or support inside the channel that the hinge bolts thru or else you'll smush it.
