Subaru fans?

I've passed the 25-year mark with Land Rovers and in that time, I've met some pretty incredible people - very diverse, very interesting. They'd give the Dos Equis guy a run for his money... I'm sure a lot of you can relate, if not see a reflection in the description.

This video captures one of my earliest connections in the Land Rover world, who still daily drives the Series Land Rover I first met him with. Rather than "out" him, at least outright, perhaps some others will recognize a guy who is often looked overlooked - but is integral - to the success of a niche manufacturer. I say that because there aren't a whole lot of companies left that pump out manual transmission, 4WD, "station wagons."

We have a 2004 Subaru Forester XT. Love it , it eats the mountains and passes around here. I can't believe the resale too. It's worth the same if not more when we bought it in '09. Just wish we could get a diesel manual awd.....

Yep. My other car is an STI and I was raised on the Safari Rally growing up in Kenya so I'm a huge rally fan.

I had a modded GF8 wagon that I sold. I'd love to have it back.

I've had 2 STI's over the years and hope to build another one up someday for a Targa Newfoundland car!! They're a lot of fun!

They may be great cars but they are driven by people who go 23 in a 30 zone.

I like Subaru's, had an '05 Outback as the family daily driver years ago (with a manual gearbox). Unfortunately 2014 was the last year you could buy a manual transmission wagon (outback) from Subaru, and even then, you HAD to accept lower trim levels to get it..

Yes, you can still buy a Forester with a stick, but I have a feeling it is on the endangered species list as well, and I wouldn't call it a wagon..

Subaru Crosstrek can be had with a stick (again, only in lower trim levels), but again, I wouldn't call it a wagon..

I had an 04 STI. Pure driving machine. I'd take it into the mountains and no one could hang with me.

Sucked for daily driving though.

I drive my STI daily, when I'm not driving my Defender. I would say they are comparable as daily drivers...
