stupid shippers

Just got word a 110 I shipped over was damaged well loading in the UK. They didn't notify me till it was unloaded at the port stateside. Now have to ship it back to get fixed then ship it back stateside again. Shipper is covering the shipping cost for those extra trips....but really....you could not have said something when it actually happened? Then could have just picked it back up and fixed it. Now 2 extra trips and extra 2 months. Sorry to vent but the stupid hurts....

Needs a new roof I guess. Cheaper and quicker in long run to do in UK

clear what happened the roofrack made the truck taller and they drove against something ... on the vessel some decks are for passenger cars only. I am sure with rack your looking at 7ft ~ 2.10m and up

Buy a new smooth roof from Safari or Marc. Color match or go white and be done. Sell me your dented roof for cheap, and I will fix it for a project.

The thousands of dollars to ship and risk the loss of investment in the truck, makes repairing stateside the prudent thing to do. Have them paint to match and ship in a container here.

All ready on its way to be fixed back in UK. Guess I can't complain to much as first real proper damage in all these years.
