Jesus buddy, that's an awful lot of apple fritters and orange juice...still stand by Valhalla as the best coffee in the NW (pretty sure they'll ship if anyone else is an elitist when it comes to their morning cup).

I admit, there is better coffee, but since my lady gets 1lb free a week, I'll stick close to home. That said, I can't tell you how many times I've been in Publix in my Pajamas buying a lb of Gold Coast or Sumatra. And I disagree with the McDonald's reference. That would mean they use inferior product, which they don't. Compare a mcd's apple pie to ANY of Starbucks pastries. No comparison. They are everywhere but that's a corporation.

------ Follow up post added December 8th, 2012 09:44 PM ------

But I may get some of that Valhalla just to have a comparison.

I nominate this thread as the "most hijacked" of 2012! Good job everyone.

I need to try the valhalla, gold coast and sumatra. I am a serious coffee junkee. I just finished installing an onboard coffee kit on my D. That's how committed I am!

Just make sure one of those mugs will double as a gas-cap in the event someone steals yours...

See, completely back on track for the OP!

That's awesome Bill!! I have the all chrome press. Does mean pot o coffee.

If your traveling and don't wanna drink the crap in the hotel or possibly not find a decent coffee house, the Starbucks via instant coffee is pretty darn good. Actually put some in a rum and coke not long ago and it was the dark version of red bull vodka.

Here's the rear storage boxes I built for the back (still need to get sealed, painted and covered). In the floor box is my coffe kit storage. includes 6 mugs. the left side box has the 1k watt inverter and remote outlet to plug in my kettle. I have a 9 gallon rear arch water tank with a tap on the cross member. all closed up, my rear bench rests on the box when flipped back for seating.

that plastic case on the box by the kettle is from harbor freight. i have a bunch of them to fit in the boxes to organize my stuff. that particular one has tea, cocoa, creamer and such in it.

I know, you would have to do alot of stuff to burn that crap off...I used to go to a coffee house in Michigan about 10 years ago and I would get two Mochas a day, in a year I gained 15 lbs. I cut that stuff out a long time ago...Americano is my drink anymore!
