Where did a 4cab pick up come from? This is a pix of one in the UK, but how is one in the US - grey market or re-build?

Also looks like it has a parking ticket on it for parking by the NO PARKING sign right in front of it.

Seems like if you had a grey market truck, you would go out of your way to "not" get noticed by the CHP.

Just my thoughts.

Meter maids in Venice have no idea what a grey market vehicle looks like. As a matter of fact ive had employees that couldnt find street legal parking that would just put an old ticket on their windshield and they wouldnt even stop to check.

After speaking with several CHP and other state LEO's in California on the matter of grey market, it seems they could care less if a car is grey market. In fact 2 of the LEO's I spoke with, one LAPD and the other a CHP officer, own grey market cars. Now if you were to get in an accident with a customs agent, that may be another story.

This grey stuff such fun. i can understand the cops couldn't give a hoot, but its the insurance man and the State registration dept I do not get. How do you get the sign off there?
There is a blue 110 in my neck of the woods, Thousand Oaks CA. Yes its blue with '05 or more recent tail lights). It is a sight to see. Not a blemish on it. I have not bothered to stop by and chat with the owner but may have to just to ask how, why (well I know that one) and any concerns?

Don't hold your breath on a reply, it may take me a few months to bother...

I love the attitude of that, so, so true.
I just "engaged" in the other tread, the discussion on the Defender redesign. Tried not to but... damn I'm just so weak!
