its near you Ron. Elizabethville.
3.4litre RS clone, engine built by Andial
very sweet.
this was our ride, my buddy;s 69T with a 2.8litre.

Does anyone know if we can embed videos from vimeo, youtube here? It would seem like some modification to bb code would need to be made, in order to facilitate this. i searched vbulletin forums but got kinda lost in all the codespeak.

Dude! You drove by a piece of Land Rover history there! That was the real deal.

Too cool!

Where did you see them? Looks like they might have just come in to the country.

On a related note, how is the Dragon these days? Last time I was up there, LEO was EVERYWHERE to the point it wasn't much fun.

I still remember running dragon (and nearly all of the blue ridge parkway from va up) in the fog in my 1990 honda and having a deer run into the side of my car.

Tony, it was Virginia, somewhere between Staunton area and Roanoke (i guess that's a pretty big area, but honestly, I can't remember). Looking at the video again, i see mile marker "199" so i guess it was 199 miles south of Northern Va border ?? Anyone into highway mile markers and can interpret? We were on I-81South.

Fri evening when we got down, was pretty quiet. didn't see any. Saturday we did a run and passed thru the dragon around 11h30am - 1h30pm and it was quiet as well. People were very good about pulling over and letting us past. 2 LEO's were at service station at Deal's gap, but they were more interested in looking at the 500 odd bikers, as well as an F430 Scuderia (great sound).

Last time I did the blue ridge, it was about 2 years ago, very slow, but nice views. We came across an accident involving a few Harleys, and asked if they needed us to call a doctor, but they said no, that 3 of them were doctors !!

My prospects for Hershey are looking dim. I am still working now (at 12:40am) and no signs of slowing down.

I ran the Tail a few weeks ago in my 110. Unbelievably, there was an 18 wheeler in front of us the entire way (wasn't bad, ... I actually got to enjoy the scenery for a change!).

Talk about an oxymoron (18 wheeler and Tail of the Dragon), however, ... this guy was having to do some three point turns to get his truck around some of the switch-backs.

I was stunned that a truck of that size would even be allowed on that pass.

We were there on a Tuesday mid-day and only saw one lot of motorcycles.
