Thumbs up Spotted D110 on I40

Last Saturday on the way to HHI my wife and I spotted a well kitted D110 headed west on I40. Looked to be a NAS. Anyone here?

Cheers...

I would have to guess that was me, but we were never on I40. Headed home from Hilton Head on Saturday back to Charlotte on 278-I95-I26-I77.

If you saw an eezi awn on top, and a crapload of bikes on the back, that would be me for sure.

Yup, must have been you. I noticed the Eezi Awn tent. Yes, it was I26, not I40. Nice rig. My wife spotted you first as I had my nose buried in the July issue of Land Rover Monthly. What part of HHI?

Cheers...

We always stay in Sea Pines on the South side. We're you in your D? I would have noticed it, but I'm guessing not if the wife was driving.

We stay at South Beach in the Sea Pines. Love it. I didn't bring the D90 this year but I will next year.

Cheers...

Every visit always involved trips to the Salty Dog. 110 was there several times. Let me know when you are going next time so we can grab a beer if I'm there around the same time.

I didn't see a single Defender in HH this trip, which was unusual.

I saw you heading there on I26 just outside of Cola, we were heading to CLT from HH. I only saw one white D90 with snorkel while down there, we were in the Benz.

We stayed in Sea Pines and man the beach was crowded this year!

You got it! Great beer at the Salty Dog, though I'm bummed they are not serving New Castle this year. Next year I'm driving the Defender. I've driven it here before. Driving through the mountians can be a nail-bitter... Of all the years we've been to HHI, we only saw Defenders on the road, i.e. I26/I40.

Cheers...
