Spotted a Fisker Karma ES at the grocery store.

I have to say that is one seriously fine looking hybrid.

Was it white, or silver like you showed? There was a white one in Great Falls today.

silverish, I was wowed by the interior and the roof as well. It looked very big and yet not too big all at once.

It is huge and ugly in person IMHO. There is a dealer in Delaware and I see one or two around here.

Cool looking car IMO. The solar roof looks like something from NASA. Think about it.... it can carry 4 adults at 125mph while getting 100mpg!
This is the one from Great Falls C&C.

I do like the concept but not the price. The all electric tesla sedan will be half the price. As long as you don't need to go touring it would be the better option imo

So when does your all electric Series go from concept to debut? That will generate some interest for sure.

Lots of projects to finish first, thin the herd etc. first. At the rate I'm going, never. But yeah the self appointed keepers of the brand are going to love it

It's a neat car, uses a similar style of operation to a normal diesel-electric locomotive, because the motor is used to give power to the electrics and not to turn the wheels. Hopefully this concept gets persued more than the standard hybrid type.

Also top gear made a Diesel-electric car with the but much slower a few years back:

The Karma is quite cool actually. There was a show on a little while back that spotlighted it. The paint actually has glass in it as opposed to metal flake, which gives it that sparkle, and the wood is reclaimed, mostly from Lake MI. They are really great looking in person, it really doesn't look like a 4dr at all.

I saw one at downtown Audi (guy who just bought one drove it over) and I just don't like it, performance wise I hear its crap thanks to the heavy battery system. Plus recently one of the CEO's was bitching Romney is to blame for the Government not giving them enough tax payers money aka federal grants for them to continue making cars (with no profit of course like chevyvoltcoughcough..)

Since when is Romney in the place to hand out federal subsidies to manufacturers of alternative vehicles anyways?

Neil is a retard.

Funny enough I see more fiskars than new 911s where I live. Every douche has one. So to answer your question yes the world has bigger douches than Neil.

There is a Tesla roadster over in Ivy I have been behind more than once, thought it was a Lotus Elise at first. There was an Aston Martin of some kind in front of Trailside coffee this morning as well, so sexy.

Something about how he made some public comments about the failure of electric subsidies and the energy committee decided not to give out any more energy loans to fiskar.

So I guess since we drive the same type of car we are both equally douchey to a certain degree?
