Spooky Black Gov't 110 Spotted in VA

Spotted this spooky black 110 with Gov't plates on Fairfax Cty Parkway near Ft Belvoir today. I have seen it parked a few times at some sort of "plant" east of base. Not sure why the gov't would want/need a 110. Maybe it's Ralph Lauren's infamous black '93?!?!

Bad ass, be even cooler if it was armored with 4 guys in black suits and M4's inside.

We had some retired special ops guy come into the LR dealership the other day with a 2005-06 D110. he said he brought it back from Germany when he "retired". So, maybe some military guy brought it back as a "war prize"

Fair chance that it is armored since there's a company here that armors them. Buddy and I were drooling over them one day when we stopped by the company.

The retired special ops guys I know don't usually mention that they're retired special ops guys.

I've see it several times around Belvior. The 110 spends most of it's time in garage within a "gated community". It only comes out to play for short periods of time.

Yes I do have the vehicle under surveillance. Is that weird??

they don't mention it to you, because you already know. They just tell everyone else. This particular guy likes people to know because he owns an aviation security company. It is good business to trade on your past Gov't experience.

Rover Special Vehicles, it says on their website that they are a US Government contracted dealer for the Defender.

yes, that's one from RSV. They have several contracts with the Military as noted on the website. I've several out and about on the road throughout the East Coast.

Style of the rear door, style of the rear lights, whether the tabs in the back are in front of or behind the tub, also boost wheels did not become available until the 1998 model year.
