Spare Tire Grill. Product Testing complete success

OK, tested this on my last trip and its awesome. I was in an area that didn't allow fire, so slide a high output burner underneath and it worked really well. It just slides onto the spare (and is adjustable for larger tires) and stays on well. great product and very well made. The tire cover slides over to cover it, if you choose

Might want to clean it first :P

Seriously though, just got a RN email that these are on sale for $25 off, thinking about picking one up for next year's camping season

Mine was $125 also from Frontrunner - didn't realize RN carried them too. Its clean now. I got back from camping and put it in the shop and apparently the dogs cleaned it for me because I came back and it was spotless.

Did you get written permission from El Mejicano ( Pedro ) to use not only a pic of his rig, but with him at the wheel?

Nope. I brought it in illegally. He shouldn't have a problem with that!

I was thinking of getting one of these and have it on my Amazon wish list... Wonder if there is a chance of a group buy/Defender Source special cut out pattern on one of the surfaces? That would be pretty friggin cool....

I do like the fact that it takes care of the charcoal barbecue in the car issue, but I don't think this is the best solution.

Got mine last May directly from Tina as it was the demo at expo west, and we love it, provided anyone gets to use a fire anywhere…

I've cooked on it 3-4 trips, and it is much less grimy and gritty then a round bladed grill...
