Source for LR3 parts (not AB or RN)

I lost the link and forgot the name.
What is the name of the LR dealer that sells parts for a solid 40% below suggested retail? They have been discussed here a few times (I searched to no avail). I need to order that plastic cap that covers the key hole on the driver's door handle.
Thanks

That would be the place, thanks. In this particular case (# LR032995), they are 30% cheaper. That will teach me from removing that cap for no good reason.

Interesting this place provide the exploded parts diagram which is a huge help:

No such luck with Merriam:

Indeed, the parts diagrams on LRMP's website are incomplete...parts guy said they would "work" on that.

But you can still input and order parts numbers that don't appear on their parts diagrams.

I still don't understand dealer pricing or ordering policies. LR MSRP is $13.02. LR Merriam is $10, $20.95 shipped. Yet the local LR dealer wants $28 prepaid using a faxed credit card authorization with a copy of my drivers license because it would be a special order. They do not take credit card info over the phone or web. No thanks.

I guess they have to pay for the staff, fancy dealership digs, insurance, inventory, and other cost of doing business crap. LRMPs barely touches or drop ships the parts from LR so minimal costs associated with selling it to you. If you went to the parts counter at Aristocrat, they'd charge you the full price is what they told me.

With the amount of warranty work dealers perform, would think they print money.

All dealers use a different parts pricing matrix, but I think the most common is probably around 100% markup from cost. Land Rovers markup to dealers is over 400%. Another common pricing matrix is to mark cheaper items, such as drain plug washers, up very high, and then only marking up expensive items, such as transmissions, a smaller amount. Its also important to consider that Land Rover is constantly changing prices of parts, so a dealer could buy a diff for $2,500, and Land Rover could later change the price to $1,000. Then the dealer is stuck with a diff that they paid $2,500 for and will probably only get paid $1500 on a warranty replacement.

A lot of parts departments make you prepay because if they didn't they would have thousands of dollars in parts that were ordered by a customer and never picked up. I don't know about Glen Cove, but in Richmond they wouldn't even let my mom pay her bill over the phone because of all the issues with credit card companies they had. We used paypal for a short period, but the fees were too high.

Pricing matrix. RN is usually cheap for genuine. AB is usually a little more.

All I know is that as of late, dealers are destroying us on the later vehicle parts pricing. They're certainly getting much better pricing than us, though I don't know the exact amounts obviously.
