the direct-drive hub motors probably don't have enough torque to turn larger tires. Pretty cool though!

Still I wonder how much the fancy passive articulation can really do more so than a standard a-arm suspension. Then there's the issue of unsprung weight.

A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.
