It is amazing how we all jump over the one girl with a defender. We all think the same thing. Hot girl with your interests, why am I not with her. HA

Welcome back horsey boy. I thought you were dead.

Sandy, do you listen to heavy metal, love to travel, and like guns, particularly HK?

barry lol, blush

Ron: i think i already am. the other forum is rather silent and too general

Jon: if chemical brothers and prodigy counts as heavy, then yes, weapons no, except in HL2DM and yes, love to travel of course, mainly love to offroad especially where it makes no sense (like taking shortcuts which are longer but worse to drive on)

Ahh... Tom and ED... AKA the "Dust Brothers". Classic. Life is Sweet and Block Rockin Beats..all time favorite. Use to spin them all the time. Their later tracks are really hard to mix though.

Friday at the LRSV factory:

"OK, we are almost done, time to go to the pub. Go put this badge I just made (#10/25) on that truck over there so we can go get a pint."

"But didn't I just put #10 on one a few weeks ago?"

"I dunno... did you?"

"I think so...."

"Go check the records you dumb-ass"

"We kept records?"

"Yes, on that napkin over there. I wrote down what numbers we have done."

"Why do these trucks have numbers on them anyway?"

"So the Americans will buy up all these old Range Rover parts we are putting in these things and think they are "special"."

"The list says 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 I think. I can't really make it out with the oil stain from the fish and chips you had last week."

"WTF happened to 12???!!!"

"You're asking me? You are the one with the number punchy thing. Why can't you do the numbers straight anyway??"

"Listen, if you think you can do any better.... awh, nevermind. I have no idea what happened to #12, just go put #10 on that one and lets go get pissed."

LMAO... OK Mike, now I will have to get that VIN! It may take a while though.

Sandy, sorry that is not my music taste. But I do think you are going to fit in with us here quite well. This really is the best LR forum X Far.

There are several members that like Mike and Ron to name a few that know more about Land Rovers than anyone. including the techs at the LR Centers that work on them.

I was hoping that maybe you like
Rammstein, there German too.

Didn't LR lean the doors up against the wall and paint them that way? I heard if you look at your doors very carefully you can see very small paint runs going vertical. Or is that a rumor I heard?

Rammstein also, but not all of them. Some of their songs are too hard or simple for me. I like KMFDM also a lot, but that rarely anybody else know.

haha at Michele :-)

KMFDM, my God are we the same age? Reminds me of Nitzer Ebb. I always wondered if KMFDM really stood for "Kill M-F Depeche Mode". Haha

dont know about age, but KMFDM stands for Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid which doesnt make sense in german and translate into something like "No Place for Pitty"

I always heard 'no pity for the majority'

------ Follow up post added February 2nd, 2010 03:46 PM ------

Actually found this on the Wiki
Quote:
KMFDM is an initialism for the nonsensical and grammatically incorrect German phrase "Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid", which literally translates as "no majority for the pity" but is typically given the loose translation of "no pity for the majority" or "no mercy for the masses". The most common account of the origin of the name involves Konietzko cutting headlines from German newspapers and shuffling around the words to produce the now infamous expression.[4] The name was shortened to "KMFDM" in 1985 in order to simplify the long phrase, with one popular account having Raymond Watts originating the initialism to avoid the difficulties he had in pronouncing the German.
