Primaryd90 = CVC......

This site and the forums were around before then. This is a reincarnation from a different board on D-90.com.

Nobody does use it. But all of the messages are still there to read back to 1999. I think the old LRO based mailing list had a D90 section before then.

Maybe not. Who can remember back that far. The LRO list starting in 1990 though...

That's right, prior to 2003, there was a different BBS software. CVC and Charles went to this software and let us all on at 9/29 -9/30 of '03. The old forum used to be accessible. I don't see the link any longer. Man how time flies.

I remember the yahoo list too. So glad I don't get that dumped in my inbox anymore.

If you remove the "post pics" or "what is the badge number" that post count gets cut into a third. If you remove the banter between him and B-Fine it is even less.

That's where the ROW and exMOD drivers come in now, I guess.

I have CRS, but I think I got involved right after the switch to VB, but very close after. Not sure really. Certainly no-where near the early days as I only started my hunt for a D90 in earnest in 2003 iirc, and got one in 2004.

I joined the LRO email list in 1997 and then transitioned to the yahoo group later on. Like Doug, I think I'm on my third username from cvc. Most of the people who were on the original iteration of d-90.com are listed in the defender owner bios tab of the site- to include people like Bill Burke, Matt Peterson(Rockware) and Tis.

True that! I think I gave my 3rd brake light and bar away.

I'm as bad as Doug in that I have no idea. Bought my first 90 in Dec '93, and Willh educated me on the computer and D-90 Source somewhere along the way.
And you are correct in that back then removing bits was the thing, then fabbing bits and altering suspension, etc etc. Sure wish I had all the parts thrown away from the early days...
All I know for sure is I have not been Defenderless in over 20 years!!

Yes. Going back to the 1990s. I was also on the "old" D90 board. Jamie was around back then as well as others.

Josh will have the post record soon, even though I have been here 2x as long ....

Probably not but he has more "signature lines" than anybody else. He is the Charles Barkley of The Defender Source, a human quote machine.

I just sent a request to be added to that group! I'm surprised that I remembered my Yahoo password.

Before I wasted time here, starting on September 26th, 2006 I was on the original LRo (Caloccia) list (? Mid 80s) and Dweb. (eff: 04-23-2004).
