I went out driving the 110 last night. The 200Tdi fired up at 0degF with no glow plugs, just had to crank it a bit.

I'm in Albany, NY, got about 10-12" of light fluffy snow. I tried to bury the truck, but couldn't do it. These things are awesome. Defrosters didn't work for shit though. LOL

Nice!

I would ask, why in the hell you aren't over at Smugg's but I don't think you guys got enough snow to make a -15 degree chair ride worth it (although a nice sled with heated everything could be a nice call for today). Forecast calls for some more precip end next week for you guys. Wish I was heading back up soon

I was at Stowe all day on the 1st, pretty good snow and didn't stand in a single line, it was epic. Mark L and son Graham were apparently at the mountain as well, it was a perfect riding day! Too cold right now with -30 windchills, but I'll be there Saturday or Sunday!

x2. Truck fogs/freezes up quickly for the first 5-10minutes.

Ah, I was heading back south on the 1st. Overall over 5 days the quad line wasn't bad especially for the holidays. I figured all the fancies were over at Spruce.

I will let you know next time I head up if you want to meet up for a run or 2. We should be up there for MLK weekend.

They are forecasting an 8F low on Tuesday AM in Charlotte. I'm sorry guys, but if it's single digits in Charlotte, up North you aren't going to make it. Kiss your toes and fingers goodbye.

Not even remotely possible. Your weatherman is either plagiarizing my weatherman's work or drinking scotch in the forecast room on duty.

Well it's -17 right now at my work... so he's probably drunk.

I moved south with the notion that I'd rather go to the snow than have it come to me...haven't looked back since and can't remember the last time I've walked through it.

I'll see your -8, and raise you an additional -10....took the dogs out about an hour ago - they literally took one step out and then ran me over to get back inside.

I knew a while back this was going to be a tougher than normal winter. My dogs always pack on the pounds for their enter coat. They did that earlier and more intensely this winter.

Isnt that directly proportional to the amount of dog food you feed them or do you leave them to their own devices?

No snow in SE VA tonight, but a warm -19 deg F.
Lots of rain this week, so no shortage of ice and frost.
Got the shop up to 37 F and it felt warm after doing a few things outside tonight.
It's so nice to have a full bay to work on LR projects.
Finishing up dialing in the locations for an adapter to mate a 300TDI to a disco V8 5 speed transmission.
Next will work on the crank hub adapter to mount the torque converter for the 300TDI mated to the V8 ZF auto.
Fun fun fun...

They are on a restricted diet. Retrievers need to be. All my dogs have gained winter coats and lost them in springtime. A setter I had weighted 31lbs in summer 40 in winter

That's pretty funny... my newfoundland sits at the door until I let him out, then just lays on the patio in the snow...it's -10 right now.
