So, if you could get any accessory you wanted....

Just out of curiosity on this one.

What "thing" would you want most for your defender that

a. nobody makes
b. is toooo damned expensive
c. nobody has gotten right yet
d. can't find anywhere

Wow, that's a toughy. Mine has just about everything on it I really want. I suppose as long as we are dreaming here I would say that I would like my 90 to have some high powered powerstroke diesel engine mated to some badass bullet-proof locker set up drivetrain that was a ninja off-road and a worthy cruiser on the highway. Oh yeah, and 100% reliable and trouble free. How's that for dreaming?

A totally professional and ultra comfortable leather interior that was not too fat, too tall or ugly -- and included replacement panels for the doors, carpet for the floors, etc. Zowie. Cold shower time.

I knew something like that was coming. That was very funny. What can I say, I'm lazy.
I drive in a lot of city traffic, thats why I want an auto.

I think I would also have to go with an auto tranmission. After years of manual trans. 4x4's when I got my Disco in 94 it was unbelievable how much more control you have off road with an auto box. I am now back to a manual, LT85.

I have to go with a cover-all warranty or maybe dealerships that will give me one time a month where I can walk in and not have to yell at their manager before leaving...Neither will ever probably happen but this is a nice way to kill some time at work

What does that mean?

Follow-up Post:

I have a freind who is in the company who provides the U.S. military with night vision. He had a pair of military use only goggles with him one time when we were at a hunting camp. These things were like day. No exxageration I have tried many other night vision systems but these were as clear as daylight. Man i would love to have some of those.

Oh yea, a body and chassis made out of titanium would be my choice.

Me, I'm more thinking of engine needs.

I'd love to see some nice brackets for bolting on a different alternator.

maybe an edelbrock MPI intake setup.

MSD distributor.

Carbon fiber body panels. I saw the skid plates on the Dakar site and thought, man that's awesome till I saw the price. I'd love to have carbon fiber over diamond plate on the wings and corners. Of course, I'd like to have it underneath too.
