No UFC, but we became friends after meeting while we trained together. We both took MMA from 98 to 04 or so. Actually, we trained with what was at the time the only full contact school in San Diego. We both took it extremely seriously for a couple years there, too seriously. Even fought in a handful of full contact matches. Now we just order the fights and drink beer.

I suspected you might be that arena, but wasn't sure which. When you had a rear door there was a website on it I checked out. Too bad it went south for you. There's a ton of cash in that business just waiting to picked up for someone willing to crush another for it. I love watching both UFC and the Ultimate Fighter.

I'm a bit ambivilent about the MMA. Probably becasue I know nothing about it, but I usually route for the former wrestlers. Mostly becasue quite a few are from Oregon.

Nontheless its pretty entertaining. I don't want to brag, but I knew this guy's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who use to work out with Randy Couture.

Well not really, but you could imagine if I did.

I don't watch (supervisor doesn't allow it) UFC anymore since my little one has become a bit more cerebral. I'm basically reduced to watching Elmo and the News.

Tivo my man! Then you can watch it by candlelight after the young one has gone to bed. MMA is just a mut. I trained in a lot of stuff. It never went south for me really, I just outgrew it. And I got tired of always being hurt. 9 broken fingers over 5 years. Once I got married I just kinda moved on. I still look back on it fondly. I was pretty good.

Front is a ford 9in with dana 60 outers. Rear is a ford 9 with modified rover outers, full float. Both retained the 5 on 6.5 for posterity

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.
