So I finally bought a porsche . . . .

Thanks to those who helped point me in the right direction on this board.

I have to arrange to pick it up, but it is only a few hours away. As soon as I have the car and title in hand I will post all the details.

I just emailed you the pic links through the website. I want to pick it up before I post all about it. It will get a Janey style ride home :-)

It has door, runs, stops etc. Not too pretty though.

The guy wants me to trailor it home. I sent him a link to the whereisjaney website and told him I planned to drive it.

Ron, this is the one from Long Island that a guy called Mike was selling? Nice project there.
Best of luck with it.
Karl.

Yes,

I bought it without the seats. I just want a driver and I paid well below any running and driving car would go for. I need to do some welding to the torsion bar area.

He is putting in normal seats, but I bet one of the six seats I have in the attic would fit. I am taking two weeks off next month to finish the garage, but I still have the big rental garage up the road.
