All you need is the right license. Machine guns are not illegal.

In fact, class III machine guns are an excellent investment. The market is solid and prices continue to climb. The only way you can loose money is if machine guns are fully legalized - and that will never happen. I know several guys who include class III guns in their investment portfolios - plus you get to play with 'em!

The 50 cals are legal, the hummer may or may not be as unless it was released a long time ago before the rule changed, I was pretty sure no hummers were release for civy sales.

I am an FFL dealer in Colorado. Had a fully automatic (legal) ak47 that I bought for 6k 3 years ago, and sold it for 14k about 8 days ago... certainly a good investment. Class III transfer takes about 6 months (or it used to) for the background check Suppressors (silencers ) are also legal with a Class III transfer. You can get a suppressor for a threaded glock barrel for about 1200 bucks or so, depending on the brand etc.

$1200! Try 600-800 and that is for a nice one.

Damn, the economy must be tough in Kentucky. The guy has to get rid of his Hummer with twin 50's and 10,000 rounds.

From the lore that I heard, several hundred USMC hummers made it to the civilian market when they traded them to a vendor for some product or services. I am sure someone will correct me on this, but that is that way I have continuously heard it. The DOT no longer allows the smaller utility vehicles - the MUTT and HMMWV to be released to the civilian market. The MUTTs were cut in half and sold, then people welded them back together, but the HMMWVs now end up on shooting ranges or crushed. Small parts like motors, frames, and axles make it to the market. I put a CJ-7 on a HMMWV rolling frame for a customer once.

After all the abuse of adding extra armor and turrets, I don't think I'd want a current hummer that is surplused anyway. Poor things are thrashed!

You can even buy a semi-auto Deuce 50 here in Cali.......for now. B Hussein O and his bad hair plug partner are going to ban them soon.

They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

Now I am almost sure suppressors and such are illegal in VA, but if they weren't where would one look to get such?

Also even if the machine gun is legal I am not sure you could just roll down the highway with it on top of your car.

Depends on the state. In PA it would be legal if they were not loaded.

As far as buying supressors, just find a class three dealer. Plenty in VA.

All NFA weapons are legal in VA:

March 25, 2008
Virginia (VA) What NFA Firearms can I own?

There are several type of Class 3 items that are restricted by the National Firearms Act.

Each state can impose additional restrictions on the sale, purchase, and transfer of class 3 firearms in addition to the compliance that is required with the national Firearms Act.

In Virginia you can own the following items that are regulated the the National Firearms Act

Machine Guns
Silencers
Any Other Weapon (AOW)
Destructive Devices (DD)
Short Barreled Shotguns (SBS)
Short Barreled Rifles (SBR)
In Virginia you cannot own the following NFA restricted items.
None

Hummers are lame anyway. Ferret Scout Cars are much cooler for everyday driving.

"childproof guns"? You've got to be kidding me! Will it be designed by the drug companies so only the kids can figure it out like their bottles?
