well according to the blog i posted the truck ran 250k pounds, which essentially means i'll never be able to own one here...

someday i'd like to get an older unimog though, it would be a great addition to the stable, that and a 78 ford bronco

I don't know about the legal / nonlegal matters but there are some here. I have seen several configurations but none weighed anywhere close to 250 thousand lbs.

A fully loaded semi only weighs something like 80k lbs doesn't it ? Maybe that is 250 kgs ? Can't find my conversion tables.

It was 250,000...not GBP. Not as bad but still ridiculous at $366K USD.

Cost not LBS... 250K Euro's not english pounds.

That would be one heavy ass truck, especially off road.

There is an older Unimog (a 404 I think) for sale in the Auto-Trader this week. Its an ex-airport plow truck from the Limerick military base. They said it was never used off the base. If you want the # let me know.
