So do you think I need sliders??

Went wheeling this past weekend.

On the last hill the rock won

I think it's time for some sliders...

Here's the damage :

I never saw the damage in the dark Paul, thats pretty rough. Drakken OffRoad is offering free shipping on their sliders in the Vendor section if you are still shopping. Their stuff is beautifully made.

Why bother now?

It is already f-ed up. Just go with it.

I mean it is not like mike ripped the side step off your pristine vintage LR 110 . . . on a rock.

LOL

Ya, wheel enough and you can get the other side to match.

Ouch. I assume you destroyed the seat box too?

That's going to cost you if you replace it.

I'd take Rons advice and f-up the other side to match the drivers side. It'll be a nice conversation piece.

Plaster a couple D-90 Source stickers over it and no one will ever know.

At least it happened while doing what it was made for, and not in the parking lot infront of starbucks.

The damage actually looks worse in the pictures.

I pulled the rocker/sill panels off - I was able to reasonibly straigthen the door frame assembly.
No damage to the seat box -
The door opens and closes with no issues - so at some point down the road I'll fix or replace the door panel.

Right now I am researching rock slider designs to fabricate - so if anyone has a design that works well please e-mail it to me..
Thanks!
Paul

It's kinda cool how aluminum makes those nice smooth buttery bends instead of the regular old steel body panels.

Half door would work. Might be a little chilly though in the winter.
