Fireman. This is an early morning fire we went to a few months ago. The owner of the house sat down on a chair on the porch, poured gas over himself then torched himself. I had to pull the guy away from the front door to gain access to the interior. He was already dead when we arrived and while I was pulling on the guys leg it popped off and I fell flat on my ass. It turned out he had a prosthetic leg. We laughed about that for some time.

Oddly enough Hans, I bought my 90 from a guy who talks to airplanes.

Larkspur is a small town roughly halfway between Denver and Colorado springs, a little southwest of Castle Rock. I've only lived in this area for about 10 years now, but I love the peace and quiet, solitude and open spaces after a day spent in lodo Denver. There's even a little wheelin' to be done just over the hill from here.

I've seen, in several of your posts, your interest in moving out this way. I'm afraid anything I would have to offer would be a serious misapplication of your talents. You appear to have more qualifications than anyone at our place, myself included. It's good, honest work but we have many more opportunities to use our backs than our brains.

In any case, I hope you do make your way out here. You could spend your weekends in my garage showing me what all these god damn wires go to!
Seriously though, I have few contacts outside my own industry, but if you think a lowly cement peddler could help, you have but to ask.

Rod

Well, my wife currently does administration work for a rather large construction firm, so perhaps in the future I might actually call you on that one. I've actually been eyeballing Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Castle Rock.... I knew Larkspur sounded familiar. IIRC that's the area where you have to go 10 miles on the service road before you can get onto I-25 Southbound coming out of Castle Rock? Beautiful area there, that's what finally sold my Wife on the idea of Colorado. That, and Pikes Peak.

Once I get there, my wrench is available anytime. Maybe I'll come knocking in May on my next swing through the area.

I succomed to my illness years ago and went to work for Land Rover. I've worked four all 4 of our company's Land Rover Centres (Greenville, Asheville, Columbia, and Hilton Head......in that order). I am our Senior Sales Guide ("Senior" meaning not that I am old, just that I have been here too long).

I have no idea what I do... I just show up and collect a pay check, as I just started a new job afer moving to CO.

By trade I'm a network security engineer.... firewalls, hacking, virus cracking, reverse engineering software, etc... that's in my spare time. Anyone looking for a well versed computer geek in the Colorado area?

I'd have a hard time selling Rovers. Everybody would want my Defender, and I'd complain to every customer that leather gets ripped to easy when you throw a high-lift on it.

Hans, I fly for a major discount carrier. I have used AirInc a few times over the years. Is AirInc located on LI? When I have a ISP overnite, from time to time I see a D-90 SW in the parking lot. Might that be yours???
