Since there are some MTB. riders here

Thought you guys might like to see my new prototype from the famous (at least in the MTB world) Frank the Welder.

And yes it isn't supposed to have a seat, it is a trials bike.

Here are my 2 badass Sinister bikes.

sick trials bike! I used to "try" to do trials on my old mountain bike. its a great skill to have. now all i do is downhill which is my new favorite sport. there isn't a lot of skill involved, just speed and big balls.

sweet Sinister too.

Met Floyd Landis over the Labor Day weekend at the Shenandoah Mountain 100. Its funny to read what some of the riders had to say about riding with him. He is a machine climbing but sucks on the downhills. Nice bikes. I'd love to be able to ride trials.

I have a cobbled together bike I use(d) for trials, (small GFisher Supercaliber frame, Cdale Pepperoni fork)but its been a while. Its also been a while since Ive been in the bike 'scene', but please tell me that purple anodising is NOT coming back into vogue!

-Jeff
Nope, the purple parts weren't my choice, they were sent from one of the distributors, but I think they go well with the frame, especially since they were free!!

Great bikes! I love FTW's work and he was really cool to email with when I picked up a Ridge last summer. I'd like to see what the next generation Splinter looks like or if I really get jonesing for one of his bikes - maybe go the custom route.

Here are some pics of the past Sinister's I've had:

You probably know, but Mickey Davenport from Western MA, is trying to get the Spooky brand up and going again. At least last I heard thru the grape vine.
