sighting in Wiscasset Maine

i think i saw a....

d90 AA yellow SW, white roof, what appeared to be a clamshell rear gate/door setup, full rack..thinkin a 95/97 as i saw round lights....was driving by fast!!! Beautiful Beautiful Truck

That was Jim C.
He came to the shop today to swap some parts with me. Its his 90 soft top that was converted to SW with a Tdi. Nice rig... made me miss my old ECR4.

Yeah - that was me with the fam trying to keep the windows de-fogged and the drips to a minimum from the intense rain we were having. My wife and I really liked it up there in Maine - we definitely plan on going back to see more when we get a chance. Like you said, it is really beautiful, and all the people we ran into were super-friendly.

my family and I have been traveling throughout the northeast and maine for the last few weeks and have met so many super nice folks too! Seen only a handful of Defenders though...another nice white 97 SW in Boothbay Harbor, a red 97 SW in Essex and a few nas110's in the portsmith and newburyport areas, not to mention a bunch of series. pics coming soon...they are all trapped in my camera until I can find the usb cord...
