side lockers

I'm considering making or buying side lockers for my trailer project. I basically want to make the most of the unused space in the wheel wells.

The two I can find are both pretty expensive ($500-700 a pair shipped).

These ones from Foleys. http://foleysv.com/gallery/14.jpg
They come in 2 sizes, not sure if the large will fit with sliders.

These might be the same as the ones being sold for less in this ebay sale - 320425802185 but haven't gotten a response from them

The landie box:

I don't like the fact that there is no trim around the door cut, and its a bit smaller that the other, but probably a perfect fit for behind the wheels (flipped/swap sides from the normal orientation sold)

So at this kind of money I think it's worth seeing what doors I can find that would fit this application, and make the boxes themselves out of aluminum.

Does anyone know of any competing products or doors that would be suitable for this sort of thing?

Call up Paul Safari in queenston ontario and ask him if he has any off of an EX Mod 110. (905) 262-4448

Ex MOD 110s are all over canada.

Chuck,
Have you tried any of the trailer and truck box supply places? I did a search a month ago when I was planning my trailer build and several places had some nice pre-built boxes that you could adapt.

Nothing I have seen was any cheaper, nor did they look easy to adapt.

Sadly I had to google to make sure, but you just dial 1 like anywhere long distance in the US. But I can't find another number when searching for him.
