should i recycle 3.9 block (scrap)

i have my old block out of my defender. is it worth anything or should i send it to the recycler? just hate to sracp a perfectly good block... but if its worth nothing i dont need the paper weight sitting around any longer. just locking for opinions. thanks!

It's aluminum right? Scrap yards pay 70-80 cents a lb for aluminum

If its a good block I would definitely keep it. You can definitely sell it to someone down the road. To get any really money for scrap you will have to remove all of the steel from it.
