Shopping for shipper

Can I have some recommendations for shippers?

Looking at sending a drivable Defender from England or mainland Europe. Also, looking for shippers for parts that are too large or heavy for mailing.

What is the best deal that you know about for shipping a Defender to the U.S.?

Thanks,

Mike

Where in the US do you want it to end up?

East of the rockies - Doug Crowther

If in the NW (WA, OR, AK, ID, CA, CO, MT, etc…) we are a bonded imported into our local RORO port - and sell space in our containers as well

Wallenius Wilhemsen, the RORO specialists from UK, France, Germany. It will be shipped to Baltimore in about ten days. For parts try a consolidated LCL container agent.

Where will I ship to? Probably Guam but maybe U.S. East Coast, closer to Florida is better.

Not worried about speed as much as cost and damage free arrival.

Thanks,

Mike

Think Uncle Doug prefers to get involved with the purchase onwards only. Recalling a thread where against his better judgement he only got involved in shipping and the thing turned into a nightmare because of the vehicle wasn't right. OP please read http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...etc-13713.html

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

As Doug and myself have worked a lot together I can say that he doesn't like to source, just import and transport trucks.
If you need someone to source something then hit me up.

I think Mike is looking for a shipper not somebody to find him a vehicle.
