The current reports are 10 or 12 injured with some fatalities. Very sad news indeed.

This is confusing. That place has allot of guns and there are 19 armed police agencies in DC. NCIS HQ (and their massive arms locker) is located there and the gates have contract armed civilian police and the Master-At-Arms force who carry M-4/M16/Mk18s and shotguns. I think this guy worked there and just drove in on his window sticker, took guns out the boot then started shooting. Good thing he didn't get to the cafeteria. Seems he got holed up and killed. That's a good ending to a tragedy.
