What are you looking to buy? Single address shipping of wine used to be limited to six bottles, so as to not look like an importer. It might have changed, though.

USPS Liquids YES. Liquor is still a NO ...for now anyway.

http://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/601.htm

..at least $70 million/yr in lost revenue in part because...

'The post office has been constrained by a law that’s been on the books since before Prohibition. For legal nerds, the regulations can be traced back to Section 217 of 18 U.S.C. 1716(f) of the Act of March 4, 1909, ch. 321, 35 Stat. 1131, according to the post office’s legal department. You probably knew that already, but that act was a general recodification of the country’s penal statutes, which barred poisons, explosives, harmful items and “all spirituous, vinous, malted, fermented or other intoxicating liquors of any kind” from being shipped by the Postal Service. The law appears to be an outgrowth of the temperance movement, which achieved its ultimate victory 10 years later with Prohibition.'

...drats.

If it's too much trouble to send them to the Philippines, just send them to NYC.

Speaking of shipping wine.... check out the movie Bottle Shock. If you are interested in wine, particularly a very good movie about the rise of Napa, then check it out. I loved it, but then again, I love Napa.

I'm checking on my favorite and local winery about shipping to the Philippines direct. They are named Del Dotto and are excellent. If not, the wines you mentioned would also be well received. Bottle Shock is an excellent movie! I love Alan Rickman! I've even seen him around town once! Though not as often as Andretti! ;-) A fun movie and a bit of history to boot! IMO much better than Sideways, which wasn't even made here, and actually hurt Merlot sales! People got the reason why all wrong from the film! And Chateau Montelena is just up valley and makes for a great drive and a nostalgic visit, although my wife prefers the castle! Hokey as it sounds, Castella di Amorosa is a lot of fun to visit on a wine trip. ------ Follow up post added January 16th, 2015 12:53 PM ------

No legal or logistical issues shipping wine to the Philippines. All I would need is an exact address to get you a shipping quote. Just let me know via pm or email. - Dave davidrossfrank@yahoo.com

There is no way that Fedex or any other freight forwarding company will do a pickup and delivery in a foreign country from the USA. Nor will they allow you to do a pick up in a foreign country and ship to you. Only way is if the seller there arranges shipping. You can buy the wine here and ship it there no problem.
9-11 took that option off the table.

My bad. You are correct. The original post won't work. I was just going to acquire and ship for him if interested.
