Shipping Wars TV Show

Has anyone seen the show Shipping Wars on A&E? Follows couple truck drivers as they win bids on uBid. Makes you think twice when you ship your D90.

Yeah, I've seen it a couple times. It is kind of funny to watch the old experienced guys play head games with the low bidders

Chris, def watch it. Your truck will prob be fairly easy, but some of the larger/awkward items sure have come close to being broken/lost/dropped/crashed/etc.

Basically the premise of the show is to follow a few "professional" shippers who talk shit about other people on the forums but then hang out on the same forums with the people they talk shit about...pretty sure a lot of it is just for TV but still kinda funny how two-faced some people are

I wouldn't worry too much about shipping a truck...only stuff like big ass boats and camels make the show!

This all seems very familiar.

Love this show...regardless of how stupid and unrealistic it is....if you plan on shipping your D90 on uship.com you will likely get bids from your typical car haulers...

I've shipped 3 cars and the "characters" on the show remind me of the truckers I've met. I am sure there are pro's out there... but the last guy that I paid top dollar to ship my D90 was smoking a cigarette when he drove my truck off the trailer... um. Thanks. haha. But truck was safe and sound and got there fast so I can't complain.

Show's a guilty pleasure. The last one had a guy shipping a 'taco truck"... wouldn't fit on his trailer but he made it. Scraped the crap out of the side. I just super-imposed in my head a D110 for that taco truck. It was even a single trailer which a lot of people recommend for speed.
