Shipping - Vehicles/Spares

Since the latest terror alert in the USA, it is no longer possible to put spare parts in vehicles that are being RoRo'd to the USA. So please do not ask Doug or me to do so. Currently we have 4 vehicles at Southampton Docks full of spares which they will not ship and which I have to go down and empty. These spares will be palletised and included in a 40' container which I will be shipping to Doug at the end Jan/early Feb, those people who's spares we have will be informed of their share of the freight. At present I am not sure how much room will be spare as there will be one Defender in the container allong with the spares.

Any enquirys please email me at julian@globallandrovers.f9.co.uk

5 trucks sitting on the quay Southampton not 4. All already searched and accepted by the shipping line.

Nepolitano's response to the Republicans asking for her head on a spit is to clamp down on every and anything after the fact. In effect locking the barn door after the horse has walked away.

My perspective since this is in misc chit chat. Some idiots in Amsterdam let this guy on an inbound flight without a passport. He did have an entry visa, and paid cash for his ticket (should have been two out of a possible three alarm flags up) and was able to argue his way on the plane with the help of a well dressed gentleman...wtf, are you kidding me ?. The Amsterdam airport has multiple full body scanners but are not being utilized for passengers headed for the US because that hadn't been authorized by the US yet (not sure what to believe there). If any one saw the Fox News interview with Nepolitano last weekend where she was asked 4 times directly if she had reviewed US policys and procedures as regards to Homeland Security and declined to answer the question all four times and twisted the conversation to the previous administration.
How can any bureaucrat run a Federal Agency without even reviewing their own agencys rule book ? A year in office and blaming policies and procedures on the previous admistration when you haven't even taken the time to review them in that year doesn't fly with me, she shouldn't have the opportunity to sit on her hands for another three years. Having flown from Europe to the US in the past week I can say the international security ( @ Heathrow and Frankfurt) seemed the same or less stringent than domestic flights here.
