If you can figure out how to pilot it up here, with the trailer, I am willing to listen

> Pick up and delivery zip codes.
> Boat dimensions (very important due to weight, width, length local, state and/or federal restrictions). If restrictions apply, it doesn't mean that it can't be transported, It means that permits and/or escort may be required and purchased by the transporter. You will have to pay for those.
> Condition of the trailer (tires, brakes, lights, frame). It is a very long trip. An experience transporter wants to know the condition of everything. Bad tires, bad wiring or lights that doesn't work potentially equals delays, citations and extra $ on fines.
> Is it tagged? (A pro should have the proper transporter tag with the appropriate amount insurance. That allows them to transport any trailer, even if the trailer is not tagged by the owner.

I hope this is helpful.

You can also try Skippers Shippers in Stuart, (772) 225-1279. Also, don't know if you have thought about shrink wrapping it, but I would. That Jupiter is just too nice of a boat to show up with bugs guts and road grime in every crack and crevice. You will have to pay for a detail anyway.

That's good to hear. I was very impressed with his service. The boat I purchased wasn't too far from his home in Texas, so we negotiated a deal based on his next run to the northeast. As such, he picked up the boat from the broker and kept it in his fenced yard at home for safekeeping. Took pictures of it to show me, etc. He took it upon himself to drain water from the bilge and secure items while it was there.

When he was finally ready for the run north he kept me posted along the way. I met him in NJ for the transfer and brought along a new coupler to match the bigger ball on my hitch. He didn't hesitate to help me replace the coupler and thankfully so, because the holes in the new coupler didn't match the holes already drilled into the trailer tongue. I wasn't prepared for that, but Thomas had the tools at the ready and I was on my way after a little effort thanks to him.
