Ship full of Land Rovers run around...

Not good news for Land Rover or Jaguar potential owners looking for vehicles. Ship was heading to Bremehaven.

What about all the JCB's and fyi the ship was deliberately run aground to get out of the main ship channel after a severe list started on the run out harbour.

what kills me is nothing pictured was strapped down. Hoegh is one of the cheapest to ship with. Clients often say to me "ship with whomever is cheapest". I don't get the reasoning.

I'd seen that video before and when I had to ship my camel from mainland Mexico to Baja they put us on the top deck right next to the side and told us we couldn't be near the trucks as there were heavy seas.. I took my front and rear winch cables and winched myself tight against the main frame of the ship... That sucker could have done a barrel roll and my truck was still gonna be there..lol...

Hoegh Osaka: Land Rovers and Jaguars driven off cargo ship
27 January 2015 Last updated at 22:58 GMT
Cars which were being transported on a cargo ship when it ran aground in the Solent, are finally coming off.
More than 1,400 Land Rovers, Minis and Jaguars were securely lashed down while being transported on the Hoegh Osaka, which was run aground on Bramble Bank on 3 January.
There are also 105 pieces of construction equipment on board the Hoegh Osaka.
The operation to remove all the equipment is expected to take at least until Friday.
Steve Humphrey reports

Reminds of the story of when ship carrying Mazdas listed. Although most of the cars weren't damaged, the insurance company didn't want the liability / warranty risk and scrapped all of the vehicles.
